Sam Morrell

Chief Executive Officer
Sam Morrell is a serial entrepreneur and self-starter. Prior to founding Rev Guard, he owned a medical consulting company and saw an immense need for reliable Revenue Cycle Management through his efforts. Rev Guard was founded on the basis that RCM services should be transparent, operating under the utmost compliance to aid healthcare practices and providers function at the highest level. Inaccuracies in medical coding and billing cost healthcare facilities billions yearly; thus, a healthy revenue cycle is crucial to a successful practice. Sam founded Rev Guard to alleviate unnecessary stress to healthcare providers, procedures and the industry as a whole, allowing focus to remain where it matters – with the patients.

Gary Smith

Chief Operating Officer
Gary has over 25 years of experience in operations and technical support management and has served in the capacity of Manager, Director, Vice-President, and Chief Operations Officer. Throughout his career Gary has excelled in improving operational efficiencies leading organizations to their maximum potential and has increased revenues and improved customer satisfaction through world-class service offerings. His areas of expertise are in operations management, process improvement, customer service, strategic planning, financial and market analysis, business planning, implementation of new services and budgeting. He has also created and run successful organizations in India and Sri Lanka from startup to positive operation. As a seasoned leader, Gary has a wealth of knowledge and experience ensuring successful operations. While utilizing stringent company cost guidelines, exceptional client satisfaction is maintained.

Lydia McGee

Director of Client Relations
Lydia McGee has a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts; Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. degree in Medical Billing & Coding from DeVry University and has had certifications in Alcohol and Drug Abuse and Special Education. Lydia has worked in private dual diagnosis hospitals in inpatient and outpatient programs in both the administrative and clinical sides. For most of Lydia’s career, she has been a Program Director and Marketing Director for hospitals and private practice settings. Lydia’s strengths include gaining client accounts and maintaining those relationships to secure accounts receivables within a timely manner and to have a quality revenue cycle management system in place, which will ultimately give patients quality care from beginning to end. Lydia’s other interests include hiking, kayaking, cycling and cross country skiing, as well as painting and film.

Robert Cooper

Business Development Intern
Robert Cooper is currently majoring in Business Management and Marketing at the University of Oklahoma’s Price Business College, with intent to obtain his Master’s of Healthcare Administration. His professional experience includes supervising the 100 million dollar restoration of the River Spirit Casino and Resort in Tulsa following the historical flood of 2019. Robert joins our team with a strong interest in advancing his knowledge of the healthcare space in order to prepare himself for his future in Healthcare Administration. Robert is a highly motivated student and has a love for traveling, especially internationally. Robert is also fluent in Spanish and has a passion for Latin culture.

Ben Hardt

Vice President of Sales
Ben has over 20 years of experience advising on business process and technology for businesses from 5-500 employees.  His specialization in healthcare during the critical years of incentivization for practices to adopt electronic medical records and compliance with performance-based reimbursement programs has allowed him to help practices make intelligent, data driven decisions.  Ben has a passion for improving systems and processes to affect the revenue and profitability of the groups he engages with.  In joining RevGuard, he hopes to bring these approaches to more practices and provide physician groups with bottom line performance.
